I was having a quiet cup of coffee in my favourite coffee shop last week when my phone started vibrating. Fumbling as usual to get it out of my pocket, I was glad that on my third 'swipe' I was able to answer it. A lovely lady from Paisley Art Institute was on the other end of the call asking if I was coming to the preview on Friday evening and if so, I could collect The Jamieson Award for my painting 'Changing Light'!
So, along I went and picked up my award and cheque from the lovely Natasha Raskin Sharp of BBC's Bargain Hunt. Here's a pic to prove it realy happended. I'm still celebrating.
